How We Structure Our Engagements

White Whale Partners operates at the intersection of strategic growth and signature fundraising.

Our work integrates governance alignment, leadership development, sustainable fundraising strategy, and high-impact fundraising execution — when appropriate.

We are not priced like a traditional event planner.

Our engagements reflect the level of strategic responsibility, leadership involvement, and execution oversight required — not a checklist of deliverables.

Our goal is not simply to produce a successful fundraising event.

It is to leave organizations stronger, clearer, and more capable than when we began.

White Whale Partners maintains a limited number of engagements each year to ensure depth, continuity, and leadership-level focus.

Partnership Structures

White Whale structures partnerships around leadership responsibility, strategic weight, and execution oversight — not task lists.

Most organizations engage at one of three levels:

Leadership Advisory Partnership

$3,500 – $7,500

A focused engagement designed to create clarity, alignment, and executive-level decision-making around a defined fundraising initiative or leadership inflection point.

Designed to:

• Clarify governance and leadership roles
• Strengthen fundraising positioning and strategy
• Establish defined priorities, success metrics, and decision-making structure
• Provide senior-level perspective before larger commitments are made

This level is advisory in nature and does not include full execution leadership.
A condensed Tribal Workbook™ is developed to preserve decisions, direction, and strategic context.

Storytelling and video strategy may be scoped for integration within a Signature Partnership.

Best for:
Organizations seeking senior-level clarity and leadership alignment without extended execution oversight.

Strategic Signature Partnership

$15,000 – $22,500+

A comprehensive leadership partnership designed to guide high-stakes fundraising while strengthening governance, strategy, and execution discipline.

This level includes:

• Strategic fundraising and governance alignment
• Active production leadership and execution oversight
• Executive oversight of production partners and specialized vendors
• Integrated donor and sponsor engagement strategy
• Expanded Tribal Workbook™ development and post-event continuity planning

One Mission Moment Video is included at this level and fully integrated into the broader fundraising strategy.

Organizations engaged at this level receive organizational access to select Douglas County Philanthropy leadership programs during the term of partnership.

Best for:
Organizations navigating complex growth, leadership transitions, or high-visibility fundraising environments requiring disciplined execution and strategic continuity.

Expanded & Multi-Year Engagements

$25,000 – $50,000+

Extended leadership partnerships designed to provide stability, continuity, and disciplined growth across complex fundraising environments.

This level includes:

• Multi-year fundraising strategy and signature event leadership
• Deep board and executive engagement
• High-touch execution leadership and vendor oversight
• Multi-year Tribal Workbook™ evolution
• Integrated donor strategy across events and campaigns

Storytelling and video strategy are integrated across fundraising cycles — including Mission Moment Videos and broader campaign storytelling initiatives as appropriate.

Organizations engaged at this level receive ongoing access to select Douglas County Philanthropy leadership gatherings throughout the term of partnership.

Best for:
Organizations pursuing sustained strategic growth and long-term governance stability.

Strategic Storytelling & Video Engagements

In select cases, organizations begin with a focused storytelling engagement designed to clarify message, strengthen donor conviction, and support a specific fundraising or leadership milestone.

Mission Moment Video

Campaign Storytelling & Event Marketing Package

Campaign Storytelling & Event Marketing Package

$2,500–$3,500
A strategically designed short-form storytelling piece developed to support a specific fundraising appeal, leadership message, or campaign milestone.

This engagement includes:

• Leadership-level message clarification
• Narrative architecture and positioning guidance
• Coordinated production oversight
• Intentional placement within a fundraising or donor engagement strategy

Campaign Storytelling & Event Marketing Package

Campaign Storytelling & Event Marketing Package

Campaign Storytelling & Event Marketing Package

$7,500+
A broader storytelling engagement supporting donor connection before, during, and after a fundraising initiative through coordinated narrative and video strategy.

Storytelling engagements may stand alone at defined moments of need, or serve as an entry point into a broader Signature Leadership Partnership.

In all cases, strategy leads. Production follows with intention.

What Our Pricing Reflects

We believe in clear, direct conversations about scope, leadership responsibility, and investment — so organizations understand not only what they are engaging, but why it matters.

Our engagements are structured around the level of strategic responsibility, governance involvement, and execution oversight required — not a checklist of tasks.

Pricing reflects:

  • The depth of leadership partnership
  • The complexity of the fundraising environment
  • The strategic weight of the decisions being guided
  • The execution oversight required to reduce risk and increase continuity
  • The long-term clarity and capacity built inside the organization

Every engagement is defined collaboratively and aligned to the organization’s stage of growth, leadership structure, and fundraising ambition.

Final scope and investment are always discussed directly and intentionally.

The next step is a conversation.
